ABOUT ME AND MY SITE:

The primary purpose of this site is to provide an accurate, current and reliable information regarding trade, fashion, economic, business, social and politics.

As an Indonesian, of course the scope and contents of information in this site would be centered mostly on Indonesia and developing countries issues.

In order to improve this site for the benefit of the readers most particularly those from developing countries, I welcome all comments and writings from various reliable resources from all around the globe, so that the contents would be worth reading and would contribute to additional knowledge and wisdom for the people.

We never know, how many people in developing countries in a day, trapped into a criminal deed or become drug addicted or even involved in some terrorism activities at any forms or battles regardless their political, social, religions or nationalities background. It is then our task to share our little knowledge with the world about any positive issues or sciences, in order to bring this world to a more beautiful and peaceful place to live in.

There are millions of sites like this in this world, but let us make this site special and helpful. I can not do this alone, because I am not rich and also not with doctorate degree back ground. I am just having a faculty degree in business economics and graduated from Master Degree Program from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague, The Netherlands, majoring in economics, policy and planning.

When I was young (around mid of 1980s) and just graduated from the ISS, I involved as a resource person under UN-ESCAP (United Nations-Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) giving a lecture on marketing for Asian businesswomen in Thailand, Nepal and Vanuatu. After that I was posted as Commercial Counselor of the Indonesian Embassy in the Hague from early 1991 to end of 1995 and became a Director for Trade Business Development at the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia. It was very hard for an honest official, especially for Christian minority in this country at that time to survive from unfair treatment. So, from early 1998 to mid of 2000, the Ministry of Trade had posted me as a lecturer at the Ministry (that was such a punishment for a senior officer), only because of a matter of dislike from my superior and some others.

In mid 2000; Dr. Bambang Kesowo, the Secretary of the Vice President who was later became the Secretary of State, summoned me to join the Office of the Vice President as the Head of Bureau of Trade and International Cooperation, which I served until I retired November 1, 2010.

With little experience and know-how, I would like to share my limited knowledge to all people around the globe about important subjects related to trade, fashion, business, social, arts and politics.

During my time of tenure, there were only very limited blogs available; and building a blog was not only costly but required a lot of time to spend because information technology was not yet well-developed as today.

Now, what I have in mind is just a dream and a vision to see this world grow in peace and prosperity. I would like to make my time valuable to others and to human beings.

Life is so short and we never know when would be the time for us to leave this beautiful world. For me, kindness is love with no limits and not necessarily to be costly. What we need is only time to take care of each other, because we are all born equal no matter our race, color, wealth and religion or whatsoever.

Therefore, I really am waiting for your valuable comments and writings and I highly appreciate, if you could keep the originality of our works and provide the names of any sources of information you obtained so that our information would be reliable and accountable.

Due to my insufficient English language background, it would be very helpful if you could make an appropriate correction if I did some mistakes, so that the message that we are going to send to our readers would easily be digested and understood.

Since I handle by myself few others similar blogs or websites, my apology if I can not respond to your letter at the earliest possible moment.
